Our Mission

Jackson Township Fire District #4 is one of seven fire districts in Jackson Township, NJ. Created by the State Legislature, this fire district exists as the taxing authority to provide fire protection services to the residents and taxpayers within its boundary.

The Fire District covers an area of approximately 17 square miles within the geographic heart of Jackson Township. It is led by an elected Board of Fire Commissioners — the governing body responsible for the oversight and administration of the District.

The District maintains two fire stations and a fleet of modern apparatus staffed by career firefighters, supplemented by the dedicated volunteers of the Jackson Mills Volunteer Fire Company.
